About
Creating the brand name "Yilenee" is more than just a string of letters. It also represents a deep fusion of art and culture.
The design of the name combines representative parts from the artist's Chinese name, "Yiwen", and the English name ", Shirlene." The "Yi" and the letter "E" have similar pronunciations. In the Chinese context, "Yi" is often understood as "art" or "literature," which fits well with the project's focus on an online digital art exhibition.
Although the final "E" is silent, it stands for "extension." It suggests that the brand gives artworks the possibility of extended life through online exhibitions and helps expand the audience on digital platforms.
Vision
"Yilenee" serves not only as a platform to exhibit artworks. It is also a digital space that connects artists and audiences while conveying emotion and creative vision.
Direction
This project explores how to build a personal brand and protect copyright in a digital media environment by planning and creating an online art exhibition.
Impact
It focuses on these two key focal points—personal branding and copyright—and highlights their importance in today's digital context. The platform showcases the artist's work and reinforces the brand's professional identity.
